An Unexpected Reading At BreadStuy!

To say this reading was our most challenging one yet would be an understatement! Our original venue, Brownstone Books, double-booked us, but the kind folks next door at BreadStuy stayed open a little later to accommodate us.

However, you know us starving artists...we do what needs to be done when it needs doing- we made it work.

A shout out to our readers:

Jason Baumann

Jelani Gould-Bailey

Samantha Nieto

Rebeca Toledo

And *besos* y *abrazos* to everyone that came out to support us.

Wanted: Writers!

The next reading is already scheduled for May 8th, and we're looking for a few good writers to take the stage!

We're taking it back to Bluestockings on Allen Street in the Lower East Side, and there's no theme, just a mic, an audience and all those wonderful books as your set design.

If you have a story to tell and share, please contact us at:

We'll be waiting for your email.

We'll be at Brownstone Books again, will you?

Of course you will, and we'll be so happy to see your smiling faces!

A Call For Writers

The April reading will be here before you know it- aren't you just itching to share your words with the world?

We are actively seeking writers and poets to participate in the next literary reading, taking place on April 24th at Brownstone Books in Brooklyn, NY.

As a suggested theme, we'd like all participating authors to honor National Poetry Month in any way their muse sees fit.

If you have a story to tell and share, please contact us at:

We'll be waiting for your email.
