Writing Prompt, 3.2.11

Sometimes creative "blocks" happen. You can be in the middle of a really good run and then BOOM. The wall. I've occasionally received emails from friends that read "I don't know what to write; give me a prompt." Last month's prompt garnered some good feedback so I figured why not make it a monthly exercise?

If you're stuck for something to write, read the following scenario to get your brain churning, especially for those who write relationship and romance pieces, or those of us who'd like to give it a try. It's sort of a character development assignment that I hope will bring you out of your creative funk:



You've just heard your soon-to-be life partner say "I do" in front of all of your friends and family. The officiator then turns to you, asks the inevitable question and pauses for your response. You look into your partner's eyes and...



Feel free to leave your response in the comments if you'd like, but it's not mandatory. As long as this prompt gets you writing and thinking creatively, that's all that matters!
